Research work underway.

  • Terminology Standards

A developing reference for commonly used paranormal research terms, intended to promote clearer communication and more consistent use across reports, investigations, and public discussion.

  • Classification of Anomalous Reports and Events

A developing framework for classifying anomalous reports and events by type, context, documentation quality, and evidentiary value. The goal is to distinguish experiences, observations, and evidence while making cases easier to compare and evaluate using shared criteria.

  • Instrument & Evidence Evaluation

A review of commonly used paranormal research tools, focused on what each tool actually measures and what level of evidentiary value its results can reasonably provide. The goal is to help distinguish documented observations from experiences, interpretations, and claims that exceed what the tool can support.

  • Recurring Reported Phenomena

A developing catalog of commonly reported paranormal experiences and activity patterns. By studying similarities across recurring reports, the Institute aims to better understand why these patterns appear, whether their causes are paranormal or not. In a field where controlled repeatability is difficult, recurring patterns may offer one of the closest available paths to systematic study.

  • Research Tooling

A future initiative focused on developing practical tools for documenting, organizing, and comparing anomalous reports. This work is still being defined, with an emphasis on supporting clearer records and more consistent analysis.
